Terms of Use
Eligibility and account creation
You must be legally eligible to use the service, provide accurate, current, and complete data, and not create a misleading identity or act for another person without authority. Required supervision or permission from a parent, guardian, or authorized representative must be obtained.
Account security, suspension, and closure
You are responsible for protecting login details and activity through your account and must notify support of suspected unauthorized use. We may restrict, suspend, or close an account for violations, fraud, security risk, or legal requirements. You may request account closure through support.
Directory and intermediary role
Alawal is a digital directory and intermediary for discovery and communication in the building and construction sector. A business, professional, or offer appearing on the platform does not make Alawal the seller, contractor, party, or guarantor of an independent user agreement.
Business, merchant, and professional responsibilities
Businesses, merchants, and professionals are responsible for their identity, licenses, authority, information, ability to deliver, communications, performance, warranties, after-sales service, and compliance with the rules that apply to them.
Products, services, listings, and prices
The publisher or provider is responsible for a listing’s description, availability, quality, safety, price, fees, terms, and performance. Users should verify details and the provider before agreeing; third-party information may change without Alawal being responsible for that change.
Prohibited content and misuse
Do not publish unlawful, misleading, impersonating, harmful, or rights-infringing content; bypass security; collect data without authorization; send spam; disrupt the service; commit fraud; or use the platform for an unlawful purpose. We may remove or restrict content reasonably suspected of violating these terms.
Communications and advertising
Communication and advertising features are limited to those currently available and remain subject to platform settings, law, and required consent. Any future WhatsApp marketing requires explicit, withdrawable opt-in; registration or a Facebook follow is not consent, and opt-out must be honored.
Intellectual property and content license
Content owners retain their rights. By publishing content, the publisher grants Alawal a non-exclusive license limited to hosting, displaying, formatting, delivering, operating the service, and promoting the listing within platform channels, and confirms it has the necessary rights. Rights in Alawal’s name, identity, software, and own content remain reserved.
Complaints, reporting, and support
Report an account, listing, content, or conduct, or submit a complaint or support request, at support@alawalapp.com. Provide enough information for review; we may request proof of identity or authority and notify relevant parties where appropriate.
Reasonable limitation of liability
We use reasonable care to operate the service, but availability and third-party content may be affected by matters beyond our control. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect loss or reliance on an unverified third-party offer. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory rights.
Service and terms changes
We may modify or discontinue a feature for operational, security, or legal reasons and may update these terms. We publish the revised version and date and provide additional notice of material changes where required. Continued use after the effective date is subject to the updated terms.
